TeamCompanion sim-ships with Microsoft Visual Studio 2010

Ekobit, Visual Studio Industry Partner, announces plans to simultaneously ship TeamCompanion v3.0 with Microsoft Visual Studio 2010. TeamCompanion v3.0 interoperates with Microsoft Outlook and Microsoft Team Foundation Server (TFS) to enable better project communication and collaboration.

Some of the key new TeamCompanion features include complete support for new features of TFS 2010 such as hierarchical work item queries, Microsoft SharePoint dashboards, Microsoft Excel reporting, work item query folders, and team project collections. TeamCompanion implements the general-purpose TFS client integrated in Outlook. It binds together Outlook objects (Mail, Appointment, Remainder, Task, etc.) and Team Foundation Server artifacts (Work Item, Work Item Query, Build, Changeset, etc.), making it easy to convert e-mail to a Work Item.
